The Upsides (“we”) operates a website that lists UAE property events and related content. This policy explains what data we collect and why.
Data we collect
- Account details if you sign in (email, name, preferences)
- Registration and waiting-list submissions
- Newsletter subscriptions and contact form messages
- Basic technical logs (IP, user agent) for security and rate limiting
How we use data
We use your information to operate the platform, confirm registrations, send requested communications, prevent spam, and improve the product. We do not sell personal data.
Sharing
Event organizers may receive registration details for events you join. Processors such as hosting, email (Resend), and analytics providers may process data on our behalf under contract.
Analytics and site usage
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand page views and lead actions (for example WhatsApp clicks and form submissions). We may also use Microsoft Clarity for aggregated heatmaps, scroll maps, and session recordings to improve how the site converts interest into enquiries. These tools collect technical and behavioural data such as pages visited, clicks, and device information. We do not send form field values (name, email, or phone) into analytics events.
Retention & rights
We retain data as needed for the purposes above and legal obligations. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
